My Story
A teacher has the direct opportunity to make a difference, to change the future. I will set high goals as a teacher and do my best to show each and every student that these goals are within their reach. I will expect every one of my students to want to learn and more importantly to understand.
In 1970, at the age of two, I have become 86% (disabled both legs) due to polio disease. By the efforts of my parents and medical treatment was no benefit for me. The doctors and the people had suggested me for higher studies. Then I started my life in very difficult and worse situation. I had to face many difficulties in schooling from my childhood. I tried to walk with the help of the cultures and got education by going to school. Students were made fun of my disability in school that cause me mental harassment. But I did not give up and continued my studies. I passed B.A., M.A., B.Ed. and PGDCPM (Diploma Computer) etc. But I have to do a lot of confrontation for employment. Initially, I employed in a private school and along with the preparations for the competitions examinations. I was successful in many competition examinations but I was not selected due to disability. Despite many troubles, I continued my efforts and kept preparing for the Teacher Competition Exam. On 18 December 1998, I was selected to the post of assistant teacher in the Department of School Education at State Uttrakhand. Uttrakhand was a hilly area and not suitable for me. But in spite of all the difficulty I joined such a school which was very distant and along with the distance of four km from the main road and on a steep climb. Later, I was shifted to Government Inter College, BHEL Hardwar. Despite of all my physical inability, I was the inspiration for teachers and students today.
Being Physical Handicapped teacher, traditional teaching process was some time difficult for me. The use of Black Board and standing for a long time cause me some problem. But ICT give me powerful tools to implement my plan for teaching. It changes my teaching method very effective and powerful. I frequently use Internet and online web resources. I provides my valuable support by participating in national programs as well as actively participating in social work. I have introduced a big missile to other people by using innovative technology, ICT, in the field of education. I used the new technology ICT to make economics and social subjects interesting.
For the excellent use of ICT in education, in the year 2014, I was given a National Award of ICT, by the President of India in New Delhi. At present, I was trying to create e-content for school teachers and students so that learning can become interesting and easily access on remote area. As a key resource (Expert of ICT) person of my state I trained more than 2000 teachers of our state.

Qualification: M.A. (Economics, History & English), B.Ed. & PGDCPM (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Programming and Management)
As my 23 years of teaching profession, 21 years of teaching experience in (Social Science, Economics, Computer Science & ICT) of Uttrakhand State School including 2 years’ teaching experience in Govt. Recognized School SNKHS as post of T.G.T. On 16 Dec. 1998 I was appointed L.T. (Social Science) teacher in Govt. High School at JAYKHAL BOREGAUN in Dist. Paur Garhwal Uttrkahand. After eight years I was become Lecturer (Economics) in Govt. Inter College Landhura, Dist. Hardwar. Now I am posted in Govt. Inter College BHEL Hardwar.
I used ICT tools to change the teaching-learning process from traditional to innovative and progressive. I believes that innovative teaching help students to learn effectively and make them self-learning. I use various ICT tools and digital sources for classroom for more emphasizing child-centered learning, making them involved in the classroom where they are efficiently developed and showing their skills. I applied a practical approach that helped my students to evaluate their knowledge creatively. I gave them technology base assignment and projects. I encouraged students to work on various socially relevant collaborative projects based on SDG Goal and there by sensitizing them towards social issues. I teach VI to VIII level to Social Science and XI & XII level Economics subject and computer. I teach them with the latest technology create interest in subjects by using ICT Tools and TLM.
I used interactive multimedia materials & TLM, web resources, developed blogs, websites, YouTube Channel, Mobile apps, organized webinar, online quiz etc. I organized education tour, field trip, activity base learning, workshop and seminar to make the learning interesting and interactive. By using ICT tools imitatively & effectively his students launched various campaigns to generate awareness among people on various social issues like save electricity, save wild life, awareness on voting, save environment etc. I also helped the e-governance initiative by developing software tools, mobile apps, e-contents, developed ICT module for training, Computer book writing, training ICT program to teachers and data analysis etc. Due to CODVID19 all school are closed. I organized ONLINE ECONOMICS CLASSESS face to face by using Google Meet and Zoom app. I making 12 Group of school to joined ONLINE CLESSES. On ONLINE CLASSES, I share education video, PDF notes, Online Google From for Assessments.
At present I am Key Resource Person and Mentor of NCERT, CIET New Delhi, RAMSA, SCERT, MICROSOFT and DIKSHA. I developed e-contents, QR Codes, write computer books developed e-contents for NCERT, CIET New Delhi, RAMSA, SCERT, MICROSOFT and QR Code to DIKSHA PORTAL.
I along with my International Educator friends we have created a mega collaborative projects on the various social issue based on SDG goal. For the excellent use of ICT in education, in the year 2014, I have selected a National Award for ICT, given by the President of India in New Delhi. Microsoft Teacher Community selected me MIE (Microsoft Innovator Expert) 2017 & 2018. Google certified teacher 2014. On dated 15 Dec 2018 I have been shortlisted by Varkey Foundation for Global Teacher Prize 2018 from over 30,000 nominations and applications from 173 countries around the world. Year 2018 I have the only person from India who participated GESF International meet held on dated 16 to 18. April 2018 in Dubai.
At present, I was trying to create e-content for school teachers and students so that learning can become interesting and easily access on remote area. As a key resource (Expert of ICT) I trained more than 2000 teachers of my state.
Innovative Projects:
I was active member of Microsoft Educator Community. This form provided us window to collaboration with many International teachers and students. Last two years I have created more than 200 Skype session with 25 international countries. I always encourage my students to investigate day to day problems and try to find solutions using innovative methods. They continuously work on different ideas and try to implement them. Mystery Skype has helped me in melting the walls of the classroom and students are getting prepared for the global world. Also, giving students, an understanding of globalization will create effective future leaders because they will be capable of seeing things from a world view. I take them for virtual field trips, call experts from other parts of the world in my own class room and play mystery Skype to help them understand the culture and problems of students of other countries through direct dialog and collaboration.

I have been very passionate to use ICT in teaching and learning. In 2002 when I was posted in Govt. Inter College Roorkee as L.T. teacher, with my sincere efforts I could able to select my school for start Intel Education. This was Uttrakhand State sponsored scheme. Under this scheme some computer were installed in school. I was much excited to have it. After training I learned basics of computer in few couple of days and started use of technology in teaching. I also inspired my colleagues to learn computer and make use of technology in their teaching. I trained all my school teacher and official staff. Soon we were able to received 10 more computers with printer, scanner, digital camera, modem etc. Our school was the first school in state to start IT subject in IX and X classes. All the teachers and students were taking deep interest in computer education and we opened our computer lab for students of another schools and general people also. We establish Computer Club in my school for implemented Computer Technology in school curriculum. On dated Feb. 2004 our school achieved great success in the field of computer education. Intel Teach to the future, Uttrakhand Govt. Technology awards for best teacher won by me (District level), and Student (Veent Shiva) for best Region level and School for best district level. All awards were given by The Director of Education Uttrakhand in the Dehradun.
It is my belief that ICT plays a vital role in high quality learning and teaching. Advances in technology have opened up new possibilities for the way in which teachers educate their classes, giving potential for innovative ways to encourage students to become more engaged in their schooling. ICT increases student’s motivation to learn, engagement in learning and their independence in learning. It provides a variety of learning experiences and creates joyful learning in students. It improves their academic achievement also. The common fear that ICT shall replace a teacher is totally unfounded. Realization now seems to be slowly dawning on the teaching community that ICT is primarily to empower them and not to replace them. ICT is, therefore, not to be feared but to be embraced so as to empower our future generations by providing them high quality ICT enabled education.
ICT has totally changed my work. With use of ICT now I am able to create my own material and thus have more control over the material used in the classroom than they have had in the past. It enabled me to deliver more material to students and it also eliminated several basic problems such as poor handwriting, poor artistic skill, contrast, lighting and visibility. I found that involving students in the creation of useful material as a part of a learning exercise is a way to make class more meaningful for students. Internet has also opened a new gateway of unlimited information and knowledge. Each and every information with photographs and video can be accessed everywhere and every time through internet. Information was not so easily accessible before using technology. ICT has helped me to develop my skills and knowledge to become more effective in the classroom. By participating in online forums, I can share my best practice and discuss new ideas and developments in teaching.
No doubt, I faced with some physical challenges as I am a physical handicapped person, lack of proper infrastructure & their maintenance, ICT phobia in teachers, lack of qualified teachers to teach ICT in schools, limited internet access, lack of interest in students, guardians and higher authorities, lack of initiative by the community leaders. But these challenges could never obstruct my keen desire to implementing technology in teaching & learning.
Since last four years I have started a Smart & Virtual Class Room Project for sharing resources and service of expert teachers of different schools in my district and state. More than 08 schools have been connected through this project so far and I am very efficiently using the resources of one another. Both students and teachers participate and interact each other with great interest and learn with zeal. This project is a boon to government schools facing shortage of teachers. Using ICT by me and my students and colleagues has clear impact on community. We have been working for spreading computer literacy for more than fifteen years through organizing various activities like seminars, exhibition, training programs etc. on ICT for community members. We are educating them for using e-mails, social networking, web searching, video conferencing, internet banking, on-line shopping, on-line reservation, on-line bill payment, searching salary, paying online income tax etc. Now they are using them efficiently.

Computers increased one’s ability to teach him Computers have entered right into the classroom. Our school got some computers from Uttrakhand Govt. in year of 2010. We never thought that in computer we could do so many things. However, after this training I understood that subject teaching can be done easily and very effectively using computer. ICT Tools are executes the teacher to implement their teaching process in better way. I realized the true power of the computer Technology only after I understand the ICT training. Soon the interest turned into a passion and I committed myself to using the computer Technology to make the learning process more exciting, interesting, and creating the maximum impact on our school students. My attitude towards teaching has changed. Now if any students find it difficult to understand a topic, I take him to the lab and show it to him through online and presentation that I may have. The students became much more interested in their subjects.

Every year Students of class 9th to 12th make two project related to their subjects. This project help students to communicated with society and found out the real situation. Students conduct Awareness campaign in school as well as in the town taking banners to create awareness among the people. They also conduct online survey work. These survey educated them real life situation and solutions.
At present, I made number of e-friends and sharing my work on social networking site (e.g. Teacher tube, YouTube, Slide share, Facebook, What’s App, and Twitter) and chat with them. With the help of Internet, I can collect or download required information easily. Implementing and innovation of ICT in school curriculum in positive manner awarded me so many times by Gov. and Private Instituted. On 05 Sept. 2014 I have been rewarded ICT NATIONAL TEACHERS AWARDS 2013 by the Indian President in Vigyan Bhawan at New Delhi.
Due to the positive acceptance of the mode of communication and teaching now I am in better position to communicate with the students, youth and general public. I not only to encourage students but also teachers to use the skills of ICT tool to search websites, blogs, Google map etc. and locate information about the topic. It has made learning an exciting process for every student more interesting and meaningful. These technologies tools make Students benefit in terms of academics, professional, social contribution and other areas of excellence. With the help of proper guidance of teacher and use of technology make him lifelong self-learner and intelligent.
My Interesting experience
I was transferred to a rural school (Govt. Inter College BHEL Hardwar) in 2008 with the challenge to upgrade the school to Intermediate. The school situated outer rural area of BHEL near Rajai National Park Hardwar Uttrakhand. Most of students come from rural and economically weaker section of the society. Most of they were illiterate. Due to lack of awareness they didn’t know the important of Education. But, due to the positive acceptance of the mode of communication and teaching now I am in better position to communicate with the students and community. Really this was a great challenge for me. With the help of colleagues and community, after a short time, we were able to run the school nicely and soon the backward school became a pioneer school in most of the activities. New ICT lab with all necessary equipment and facilities was established with the help of community and govt. A high speed broadband connection and generator were also managed by community. Students got benefitted with technology integrated education. They were much thrilled when they interacted with teachers and students of other schools of country as well as beyond the country through video conferencing. Teachers started searching for educational material on internet and developing their own digital content. This school was lucky for me because in this duration I achieve no of great achievements.

MHRD Minister Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani has lunching 4 mobile education apps. For eg. e-Pathshala etc.

6. GESF Summit Dubai - On 16 to 17 march 2018, I have slected for GESF (Global Education & Skill Forum) being held on Atlantic in Dubai (UAE) by Varkey Foundation. More that 3000 educator (Education Minster, teachers, UNICEFs leaders etc.) were invite to share their innovation projects on education. I have share my innovation projects on that conference.

International Webinar on adverse impact on Education by COVID19 Pandemic – I have been selected with 100 teacher’s worldwide to share their view on adverse impact of the student’s education and the challenges they face on lockdown. In the webinar I share my view that I have created student’s group and joined them Online Classes by using Google meet and ZOOM app. The webinar host by Varkey Foundation London.

National Online Webinar on ICT tools - To fight COVID-19, enabling learning from Home and Practice Social Distancing, CIET-NCERT is organizing a month-long Webinar starting from 07 April 2020 for the enrichment and professional development of students, teachers, teacher educators and researchers. The webinar intends to cover various themes related to Educational Technology (ET), Information, and Communication Technology (ICT) in education. I have selected for Speaker for 7 times for online webinar conducted by CIET-NCERT. Impact on the Community
Teachers play a very important role in shaping students’ future career choices, as well as their attitude and spirit. However, before teachers can act as mentors for their students, it is important that they themselves are informed about the variety of jobs available, skills needed and professional training opportunities. As a teacher, I will show my students how to become independent and form their own relationships, I will carefully guide them and intervene when necessary. School is as much a place of social learning as academic learning, and this is true, not only in our early years of education, but all the way through college. Though a teacher’s influence on the social sphere of school lessens as students mature, those early lessons still have an effect on how they will interact with others in the future.
With a teacher's guidance, parents can improve their understanding of their child's learning through demonstrating how to learn, facilitating the learning process, and guiding the learner. Teacher's encourage, develop, and offer ideas to stimulate children's basic learning skills. Preparing Students for Future
While increasing access to education is still a major challenge in many countries, improving the quality and relevance of education is now receiving more attention than ever, with due emphasis on the importance of values, attitudes and skills that promote mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. Beyond cognitive knowledge and skills, the international community is urging an education that will help resolve the existing and emerging global challenges menacing our planet, while wisely tapping into the opportunities it provides.
In a globalized world, the role of teachers have been increase. Education is putting more emphasis on equipping individuals from an early age, and throughout life, with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors they need to be informed, engaged and empathetic citizens. And with increasing interconnections, for example through ICT's and social media, the opportunities for collaboration, cooperation, shared learning and collective responses are increasing. Teacher’s/Govt./Ed society have a strategy to make online and offline education work together’ and where ‘the textbook is not the common denominator, the dialogue is the common denominator’. Evaluations have found that the programmer has increased interest in sustainability issues and global issues. Ed Community/Govt./International teacher have a responsibility to create e-contain/online resources/online education degree/online teacher profession course etc. for all over the world. All the resources should be provided free of cost or less of cost. These resources are beneficial for those poor people or students lived in remote area of the world. By creating International education forum we will be help not only the teacher to set their target but also Govt. to make new innovate education policy according to their need. International teacher exchange programmers are another method to expose educators to other countries, cultures and societies as well as to new pedagogical methods and competencies. International teacher exchange programs to increase teachers’ knowledge and understanding of global issues and trends, improve interpersonal/communication skills and improve pedagogical skills.
All the Govt. Edu society and teacher need to do to prepare young people for the future to create Global Citizenship Education (GCE) programs. This GCE can develop the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes learners need for securing a world which is more just, peaceful, tolerant, inclusive, secure and sustainable. It represents a conceptual shift in that it recognizes the relevance of education in understanding and resolving global issues in their social, political, cultural, economic and environmental dimensions. It also acknowledges the role of education in moving beyond the development of knowledge and cognitive skills to build values, soft skills and attitudes among learners that can facilitate international cooperation and promote social transformation. GCE applies a multifaceted approach, employing concepts, methodologies and theories already implemented in different fields and subjects, including human rights education, peace education, education for sustainable development and education for international understanding. As such, it aims to advance their overlapping agendas, which share a common objective to foster a more just, peaceful and sustainable world. All this above step make the Best Global education citizen, Global innovative teachers & students in the world.
My Future Plans
I am planning to make wikis, blogs groups and websites for students and teachers in collaboration with other teachers. Convert all Economics and Social Science topics into Digital Multimedia Presentation. My effort is to convert each classroom into smart classroom.
I want to learn and share new ICT tools of teaching with teacher’s community. I am much eager to achieve good skills in advanced animation, photo & video editing and web deigning software’s.
I want to collaborate with teachers from different regions and countries to do work together and bring positive changes in Educational environment. Technological environment is dynamic and progressing each day and my aim is to keep myself updated and do different online courses available through websites like Microsoft teacher community, Intel in education, Google training, C.I.E.T New Delhi etc. We try to make technology-based assignments and projects to all the students for relative topics. In future we developed Websites, blogs and wikis for school students. I will convert my subjects Micro and Macro (NCERT-Book in Hindi Medium) Economics for XI and XII into digital presentation. I will make quiz presentation and e-learning content for each chapter of book. Teacher and students developed a wide network to share their work by suing social sites. In future we try to conduct online exams, online survey, quiz etc. I created mobile blogs for students which are easily browsed from mobile also. Students are write comment on the blogs. Developed new blogs for the students and carried out their activity, assignments, projects, video, photo, Question bank, upcoming event and exam, information link, online quiz link, online subject games etc. We try to develop Digital information Bank where the entire teacher saves their important presentation, video, web-resources etc. Try to give online Guidance and Counseling to students. Organize awareness program, workshop, exhibition seminar and Education tour. We try to make every classroom fully equipped with LCD Projector. Make efforts for Advance training (ICT) to all the teachers and students.

Qualification: M.A. (Economics, History & English), B.Ed. & PGDCPM (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Programming and Management)
As my 23 years of teaching profession, 21 years of teaching experience in (Social Science, Economics, Computer Science & ICT) of Uttrakhand State School including 2 years’ teaching experience in Govt. Recognized School SNKHS as post of T.G.T. On 16 Dec. 1998 I was appointed L.T. (Social Science) teacher in Govt. High School at JAYKHAL BOREGAUN in Dist. Paur Garhwal Uttrkahand. After eight years I was become Lecturer (Economics) in Govt. Inter College Landhura, Dist. Hardwar. Now I am posted in Govt. Inter College BHEL Hardwar.
I used ICT tools to change the teaching-learning process from traditional to innovative and progressive. I believes that innovative teaching help students to learn effectively and make them self-learning. I use various ICT tools and digital sources for classroom for more emphasizing child-centered learning, making them involved in the classroom where they are efficiently developed and showing their skills. I applied a practical approach that helped my students to evaluate their knowledge creatively. I gave them technology base assignment and projects. I encouraged students to work on various socially relevant collaborative projects based on SDG Goal and there by sensitizing them towards social issues. I teach VI to VIII level to Social Science and XI & XII level Economics subject and computer. I teach them with the latest technology create interest in subjects by using ICT Tools and TLM.
I used interactive multimedia materials & TLM, web resources, developed blogs, websites, YouTube Channel, Mobile apps, organized webinar, online quiz etc. I organized education tour, field trip, activity base learning, workshop and seminar to make the learning interesting and interactive. By using ICT tools imitatively & effectively his students launched various campaigns to generate awareness among people on various social issues like save electricity, save wild life, awareness on voting, save environment etc. I also helped the e-governance initiative by developing software tools, mobile apps, e-contents, developed ICT module for training, Computer book writing, training ICT program to teachers and data analysis etc. Due to CODVID19 all school are closed. I organized ONLINE ECONOMICS CLASSESS face to face by using Google Meet and Zoom app. I making 12 Group of school to joined ONLINE CLESSES. On ONLINE CLASSES, I share education video, PDF notes, Online Google From for Assessments.
At present I am Key Resource Person and Mentor of NCERT, CIET New Delhi, RAMSA, SCERT, MICROSOFT and DIKSHA. I developed e-contents, QR Codes, write computer books developed e-contents for NCERT, CIET New Delhi, RAMSA, SCERT, MICROSOFT and QR Code to DIKSHA PORTAL.
I along with my International Educator friends we have created a mega collaborative projects on the various social issue based on SDG goal. For the excellent use of ICT in education, in the year 2014, I have selected a National Award for ICT, given by the President of India in New Delhi. Microsoft Teacher Community selected me MIE (Microsoft Innovator Expert) 2017 & 2018. Google certified teacher 2014. On dated 15 Dec 2018 I have been shortlisted by Varkey Foundation for Global Teacher Prize 2018 from over 30,000 nominations and applications from 173 countries around the world. Year 2018 I have the only person from India who participated GESF International meet held on dated 16 to 18. April 2018 in Dubai.

Innovative Projects:
I was active member of Microsoft Educator Community. This form provided us window to collaboration with many International teachers and students. Last two years I have created more than 200 Skype session with 25 international countries. I always encourage my students to investigate day to day problems and try to find solutions using innovative methods. They continuously work on different ideas and try to implement them. Mystery Skype has helped me in melting the walls of the classroom and students are getting prepared for the global world. Also, giving students, an understanding of globalization will create effective future leaders because they will be capable of seeing things from a world view. I take them for virtual field trips, call experts from other parts of the world in my own class room and play mystery Skype to help them understand the culture and problems of students of other countries through direct dialog and collaboration.
Global Events Initiated
- I along with my International Educator friends we have created a mega collaborative projects on the various topic like “The Kindness” based on SDG goal. In this projects more than 150 schools from around 35 countries have registered and participate. Another projects “The Innovation” based on SDG goal. In this projects more than 560 schools from around 75 countries have registered and participate. At present my students working on two International Projects “The Safe Spaces”, “The Poverty”, ”Artificial Intelligence” and “No more Plastics” etc based on SDG goal. In this projects students share their view, video and presentation. By the used of Skype session, students learned many new things by interaction with global teachers and students. They created new activity based on projects in school. I share students activity in our school website, my blogs and above mention projects web links.
My Interest
Teaching; Innovations, Conducting Awareness Program on various subjects, Create projects on social issue, developed e-content for students, Using ICT tools in teaching. Writing articles especially on Social Science, Economics, Computer Science, ICT and Environment.
I have been very passionate to use ICT in teaching and learning. In 2002 when I was posted in Govt. Inter College Roorkee as L.T. teacher, with my sincere efforts I could able to select my school for start Intel Education. This was Uttrakhand State sponsored scheme. Under this scheme some computer were installed in school. I was much excited to have it. After training I learned basics of computer in few couple of days and started use of technology in teaching. I also inspired my colleagues to learn computer and make use of technology in their teaching. I trained all my school teacher and official staff. Soon we were able to received 10 more computers with printer, scanner, digital camera, modem etc. Our school was the first school in state to start IT subject in IX and X classes. All the teachers and students were taking deep interest in computer education and we opened our computer lab for students of another schools and general people also. We establish Computer Club in my school for implemented Computer Technology in school curriculum. On dated Feb. 2004 our school achieved great success in the field of computer education. Intel Teach to the future, Uttrakhand Govt. Technology awards for best teacher won by me (District level), and Student (Veent Shiva) for best Region level and School for best district level. All awards were given by The Director of Education Uttrakhand in the Dehradun.
It is my belief that ICT plays a vital role in high quality learning and teaching. Advances in technology have opened up new possibilities for the way in which teachers educate their classes, giving potential for innovative ways to encourage students to become more engaged in their schooling. ICT increases student’s motivation to learn, engagement in learning and their independence in learning. It provides a variety of learning experiences and creates joyful learning in students. It improves their academic achievement also. The common fear that ICT shall replace a teacher is totally unfounded. Realization now seems to be slowly dawning on the teaching community that ICT is primarily to empower them and not to replace them. ICT is, therefore, not to be feared but to be embraced so as to empower our future generations by providing them high quality ICT enabled education.
ICT has totally changed my work. With use of ICT now I am able to create my own material and thus have more control over the material used in the classroom than they have had in the past. It enabled me to deliver more material to students and it also eliminated several basic problems such as poor handwriting, poor artistic skill, contrast, lighting and visibility. I found that involving students in the creation of useful material as a part of a learning exercise is a way to make class more meaningful for students. Internet has also opened a new gateway of unlimited information and knowledge. Each and every information with photographs and video can be accessed everywhere and every time through internet. Information was not so easily accessible before using technology. ICT has helped me to develop my skills and knowledge to become more effective in the classroom. By participating in online forums, I can share my best practice and discuss new ideas and developments in teaching.
No doubt, I faced with some physical challenges as I am a physical handicapped person, lack of proper infrastructure & their maintenance, ICT phobia in teachers, lack of qualified teachers to teach ICT in schools, limited internet access, lack of interest in students, guardians and higher authorities, lack of initiative by the community leaders. But these challenges could never obstruct my keen desire to implementing technology in teaching & learning.
Since last four years I have started a Smart & Virtual Class Room Project for sharing resources and service of expert teachers of different schools in my district and state. More than 08 schools have been connected through this project so far and I am very efficiently using the resources of one another. Both students and teachers participate and interact each other with great interest and learn with zeal. This project is a boon to government schools facing shortage of teachers. Using ICT by me and my students and colleagues has clear impact on community. We have been working for spreading computer literacy for more than fifteen years through organizing various activities like seminars, exhibition, training programs etc. on ICT for community members. We are educating them for using e-mails, social networking, web searching, video conferencing, internet banking, on-line shopping, on-line reservation, on-line bill payment, searching salary, paying online income tax etc. Now they are using them efficiently.
Professional Developments
I am a Physical Handicapped teacher. Traditional teaching process was some time difficult for me. The use of Black Board and standing for a long time cause me some problem. But ICT give me powerful tools to implement my plan for teaching. It changes my teaching method very effective and powerful. I frequently use Internet and e-content for my teaching.
Computers increased one’s ability to teach him Computers have entered right into the classroom. Our school got some computers from Uttrakhand Govt. in year of 2010. We never thought that in computer we could do so many things. However, after this training I understood that subject teaching can be done easily and very effectively using computer. ICT Tools are executes the teacher to implement their teaching process in better way. I realized the true power of the computer Technology only after I understand the ICT training. Soon the interest turned into a passion and I committed myself to using the computer Technology to make the learning process more exciting, interesting, and creating the maximum impact on our school students. My attitude towards teaching has changed. Now if any students find it difficult to understand a topic, I take him to the lab and show it to him through online and presentation that I may have. The students became much more interested in their subjects.

I put in long hours at school computer Lab and at home to create Digital resources, develop e-contents, blogs, wiki-spaces, download or upload education video, multimedia presentation etc. to make the teaching learning process more interesting and meaningful. At present I am Key Resource Person of Uttrakhand to develop e-content with NROER.
I gave the students technology base assignment and carrying out internet research by using various web resources and books. Every year Students of class 9th to 12th make two project related to their subjects. This project help students to communicated with society and found out the real situation. Students conduct Awareness campaign in school as well as in the town taking banners to create awareness among the people. They also conduct online survey work. These survey educated them real life situation and solutions.
At present, I made number of e-friends and sharing my work on social networking site (e.g. Teacher tube, YouTube, Slide share, Facebook, What’s App, and Twitter) and chat with them. With the help of Internet, I can collect or download required information easily. Implementing and innovation of ICT in school curriculum in positive manner awarded me so many times by Gov. and Private Instituted. On 05 Sept. 2014 I have been rewarded ICT NATIONAL TEACHERS AWARDS 2013 by the Indian President in Vigyan Bhawan at New Delhi.
Due to the positive acceptance of the mode of communication and teaching now I am in better position to communicate with the students, youth and general public. I not only to encourage students but also teachers to use the skills of ICT tool to search websites, blogs, Google map etc. and locate information about the topic. It has made learning an exciting process for every student more interesting and meaningful. These technologies tools make Students benefit in terms of academics, professional, social contribution and other areas of excellence. With the help of proper guidance of teacher and use of technology make him lifelong self-learner and intelligent.
My Interesting experience
I was transferred to a rural school (Govt. Inter College BHEL Hardwar) in 2008 with the challenge to upgrade the school to Intermediate. The school situated outer rural area of BHEL near Rajai National Park Hardwar Uttrakhand. Most of students come from rural and economically weaker section of the society. Most of they were illiterate. Due to lack of awareness they didn’t know the important of Education. But, due to the positive acceptance of the mode of communication and teaching now I am in better position to communicate with the students and community. Really this was a great challenge for me. With the help of colleagues and community, after a short time, we were able to run the school nicely and soon the backward school became a pioneer school in most of the activities. New ICT lab with all necessary equipment and facilities was established with the help of community and govt. A high speed broadband connection and generator were also managed by community. Students got benefitted with technology integrated education. They were much thrilled when they interacted with teachers and students of other schools of country as well as beyond the country through video conferencing. Teachers started searching for educational material on internet and developing their own digital content. This school was lucky for me because in this duration I achieve no of great achievements.

Being disable teacher, I provide valuable support in participating of national programs as well as actively participating in social work with integrity and hard work. I have introduced ICT technology base learning, in the field of education. National and International Award
- Microsoft Innovative Teachers Leadership Awards 2006 has been instituted, to honor all those who continue to innovate and integrate new and improved ways through integration to technology in classroom teaching and learning practices, after being trained under Microsoft’s training program under Project Shiksha. After rigorous assessment, 10 teachers are selected through a panel of judges approved by UNESCO all over India. Our school has great honors of achieving this awards Mr. Pradeep Negi has been award for excellence in the integration of technology in classroom teaching. And selected for the Microsoft Regional Innovative Asia Pacific Meat for Teacher’s conference 2007 for Cambodia dated 28 Feb. 2007 to 2 March held in Siem Reap. The award was given by the Director of N.C.E.R.T. India in New Delhi on dated 13.02.2007.
- Microsoft Regional Asia Pacific Meat Award 2007 - In Cambodia Microsoft Regional Innovative Asia Pacific Meat for Teacher’s conference 2007 Mr. Pradeep Negi has been awarded 2nd position in Group 1 with five other country teachers. (Making Project on Environmental sustainability; conservation of water resources of Angkor in Cambodia).
- ICT National Award 2013 – On dated 05 Sept.2014 Mr. Pradeep Negi received ICT National Award from The Indian Presidents Shri Pranav Mukarjee in Vigyan Bhavan. The Award was given in recognition of effective and innovative integration of ICT in promoting students’ learning.
- Meeting with Prime Minister 2014 – On dated 04 Sep 2014 the Prime Minister of India Shri Narander Modi ji organized meeting with National Awardee Teachers in their PM House New Delhi. In meeting he was interacted with the teachers and share their thought. In meeting he asked three question form Mr. Pradeep Negi.
- Google Certificed Teacher Awards 2014 – On 5 Dec 2014 Google of Education awared me as a google certified teacher awards.
- E-Global International Award 2015 - On 15 February 2015 The BHARTHI GLOBAL FOUNDATION of Himachal Pradesh awarded to Mr. Pradeep Negi for his outstanding contributions to the growth of Academic Activities and Promoting Innovative service to students, teacher and society. The BHARTHI GLOBAL FOUNDATION creating online discussion form to world teacher. All the teachers have uploaded their work and share their view on school education. Out of more than two thousand teachers of the world ten have been selected for award. Six from other country and four from India.
- MIE EXPERT – Microsoft Education Community selected me as MIE Expert continuous two years 2017 and 2018 . I have trained more than 500 teachers (ICT Tools) on online by using Microsoft Education website. 6. GESF Summit Dubai - On 16 to 17 march 2018, I have slected for GESF (Global Education & Skill Forum) being held on Atlantic in Dubai (UAE) by Varkey Foundation. More that 3000 educator (Education Minster, teachers, UNICEFs leaders etc.) were invite to share their innovation projects on education. I have share my innovation projects on that conference.
7. Information Communication Technology for uses and challenges – On dated 26 to 27 Feb 2020 I have selected as a Expert for ICT uses and challenges being held on Dehradun by DIET Deharadun. As an Expert I have presentation on ICT Tools improve teacher’s learning method.

International Webinar on adverse impact on Education by COVID19 Pandemic – I have been selected with 100 teacher’s worldwide to share their view on adverse impact of the student’s education and the challenges they face on lockdown. In the webinar I share my view that I have created student’s group and joined them Online Classes by using Google meet and ZOOM app. The webinar host by Varkey Foundation London.
9. National Online Webinar on ICT tools - To fight COVID-19, enabling learning from Home and Practice Social Distancing, CIET-NCERT is organizing a month-long Webinar starting from 07 April 2020 for the enrichment and professional development of students, teachers, teacher educators and researchers. The webinar intends to cover various themes related to Educational Technology (ET), Information, and Communication Technology (ICT) in education. I have selected for Speaker for 7 times for online webinar conducted by CIET-NCERT. Impact on the Community
Teachers play a very important role in shaping students’ future career choices, as well as their attitude and spirit. However, before teachers can act as mentors for their students, it is important that they themselves are informed about the variety of jobs available, skills needed and professional training opportunities. As a teacher, I will show my students how to become independent and form their own relationships, I will carefully guide them and intervene when necessary. School is as much a place of social learning as academic learning, and this is true, not only in our early years of education, but all the way through college. Though a teacher’s influence on the social sphere of school lessens as students mature, those early lessons still have an effect on how they will interact with others in the future.
With a teacher's guidance, parents can improve their understanding of their child's learning through demonstrating how to learn, facilitating the learning process, and guiding the learner. Teacher's encourage, develop, and offer ideas to stimulate children's basic learning skills. Preparing Students for Future
While increasing access to education is still a major challenge in many countries, improving the quality and relevance of education is now receiving more attention than ever, with due emphasis on the importance of values, attitudes and skills that promote mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. Beyond cognitive knowledge and skills, the international community is urging an education that will help resolve the existing and emerging global challenges menacing our planet, while wisely tapping into the opportunities it provides.
In a globalized world, the role of teachers have been increase. Education is putting more emphasis on equipping individuals from an early age, and throughout life, with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors they need to be informed, engaged and empathetic citizens. And with increasing interconnections, for example through ICT's and social media, the opportunities for collaboration, cooperation, shared learning and collective responses are increasing. Teacher’s/Govt./Ed society have a strategy to make online and offline education work together’ and where ‘the textbook is not the common denominator, the dialogue is the common denominator’. Evaluations have found that the programmer has increased interest in sustainability issues and global issues. Ed Community/Govt./International teacher have a responsibility to create e-contain/online resources/online education degree/online teacher profession course etc. for all over the world. All the resources should be provided free of cost or less of cost. These resources are beneficial for those poor people or students lived in remote area of the world. By creating International education forum we will be help not only the teacher to set their target but also Govt. to make new innovate education policy according to their need. International teacher exchange programmers are another method to expose educators to other countries, cultures and societies as well as to new pedagogical methods and competencies. International teacher exchange programs to increase teachers’ knowledge and understanding of global issues and trends, improve interpersonal/communication skills and improve pedagogical skills.
All the Govt. Edu society and teacher need to do to prepare young people for the future to create Global Citizenship Education (GCE) programs. This GCE can develop the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes learners need for securing a world which is more just, peaceful, tolerant, inclusive, secure and sustainable. It represents a conceptual shift in that it recognizes the relevance of education in understanding and resolving global issues in their social, political, cultural, economic and environmental dimensions. It also acknowledges the role of education in moving beyond the development of knowledge and cognitive skills to build values, soft skills and attitudes among learners that can facilitate international cooperation and promote social transformation. GCE applies a multifaceted approach, employing concepts, methodologies and theories already implemented in different fields and subjects, including human rights education, peace education, education for sustainable development and education for international understanding. As such, it aims to advance their overlapping agendas, which share a common objective to foster a more just, peaceful and sustainable world. All this above step make the Best Global education citizen, Global innovative teachers & students in the world.
My Future Plans
I am planning to make wikis, blogs groups and websites for students and teachers in collaboration with other teachers. Convert all Economics and Social Science topics into Digital Multimedia Presentation. My effort is to convert each classroom into smart classroom.
I want to learn and share new ICT tools of teaching with teacher’s community. I am much eager to achieve good skills in advanced animation, photo & video editing and web deigning software’s.
I want to collaborate with teachers from different regions and countries to do work together and bring positive changes in Educational environment. Technological environment is dynamic and progressing each day and my aim is to keep myself updated and do different online courses available through websites like Microsoft teacher community, Intel in education, Google training, C.I.E.T New Delhi etc. We try to make technology-based assignments and projects to all the students for relative topics. In future we developed Websites, blogs and wikis for school students. I will convert my subjects Micro and Macro (NCERT-Book in Hindi Medium) Economics for XI and XII into digital presentation. I will make quiz presentation and e-learning content for each chapter of book. Teacher and students developed a wide network to share their work by suing social sites. In future we try to conduct online exams, online survey, quiz etc. I created mobile blogs for students which are easily browsed from mobile also. Students are write comment on the blogs.
